宁夏CSR研讨 Seminar in NingXia

                                      

These two days, I am in NingXia autonomous region and join the CSR seminar organized by CANGO. It is interesting to take part in such seminar, because that is my first time to talk about CSR in western China. Though I have participated and sometimes spoken in many CSR events in Beijing, Shenzhen and even in overseas, CSR in western China is still a new subject to me.

This morning, I took part in the first seminar and gave comments at the end of it. The subject of the morning was about CSR issues in social governance. Key departments of the government authority in Ningxia participated in this meeting.

Those officials were quite frank this morning, and shared their views on CSR and the difficulties that they are facing. No need to say, CSR is a very new issue to them, and they cannot tell how the interactive relationship between CSR and their respective goverment responsibility.

I summarized this seminar by telling them a reletively comprehensive concept of CSR and suggest them think about this issue from the perspective of entrepreneurs...

I try to be simple and directly to the points, which I think is the best way to communicate with local officials.

This afternoon, the seminar would be about CSR and NGOs.
