CSR Asia, a CSR research firm with offices in Hong Kong and
Shenzhen, is pleased to announce its forthcoming conference.
"The Supply Chain Talks Back" is two-day conference and will be held
in Shekou, Shenzhen, China on November 21-22 2005. Rather than
having experts from big companies outline their own CSR policies and
programs, our aim is to provide a forum for representatives from the
supply chain and other interested parties to speak about CSR and
related issues from on the ground. Speakers will include experts on
labour law, human rights, migrant workers, factory workers, trade
union representatives, academics, women's groups and health experts
from across the Asia Pacific. It will be highly practical and the
focus will be on tackling the real problems encountered by companies
wanting to do CSR in the region.
