EthiChina is a new company grown from a personal website (CSRI Blog) founded in 2004. It is an internet-based information provider on Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) and Socially Responsible Investment (SRI). It has been well recognized in China after one year’s development. With bilingual contents, EthiChina brings the worldwide leading CSR concepts into China and at the same time introduce the up-to-date CSR information of China to the world. EthiChina aims to be the most important internet platform of CSR in China and the hub to link the world.

Job description

EthiChina is now looking for an Executive Director (full time) to manage the daily business of the company. He or she will be responsible directly to the Board of the company.

Responsibilities include:

-maintain the content of the website with technical supports from an IT company;

-manage a team consisting of part-time employees and volunteers;

-build up the relationship with companies, governments, CSR organizations and mass media in China and around the world;

-establish partnership/alliance with world leading CSR websites;

-do marketing and shape up a good brand for the company.

Qualifications

-Bachelor degree or above, majoring in economics, IT or languages would be an advantage;

-Fluency in Mandarin Chinese and English (spoken and written);

-Excellent communication and interpersonal skills;

-Good leadership potential, self-driven;

-Ability to work independently or with a team;

-Knowledge about CSR/SRI would be an advantage;

-One or two years working experiences would be an advantage.
