Brief: This short article say that in Gezhou Grand Dam Power Station, there are a lot of trashes (including plastic bags, so-called White Pollutants) which flow on the water before the Dam. Such trashes greatly threaten the dam. Particularly, from Sept.23rd to Oct.1st, the dam stopped for 32 times due to this problem.
葛洲坝船闸里和坝前漂浮着大量垃圾
葛洲坝是我国长江干流上兴建的第一座大型水利枢纽工程，运行20多年来，却一直受到上游水面漂浮物的危害。
近年来，国家虽然启动了保护长江母亲河行动、三峡库区清漂行动等，但大量的白色垃圾仍然严重威胁葛洲坝电厂机组的运行安全。据统计，长江干流一般年份漂浮物来量为10-20万立方米，今年漂浮物造成船闸运行程序中断情况尤为严重，仅9月13日到10月1日，船闸就中断运行程序多达32次，也是葛洲坝船闸开通20年来首次遇到漂浮物严重威胁葛洲坝电厂运行安全。
据悉，近日长江三峡通航管理局正采取措施，对漂浮物进行清理。
